Welcome to It’s Okay Here.

This is part blog, part journal, a space where I write personal stories about motherhood, burnout, anxiety, identity, and the emotional undercurrents of everyday life.

I started this space when motherhood and anxiety became too much for me to manage on my own, and writing became a way for me to process what I was feeling.

This began as a private journaling practice.

I started writing simply to process what was going on inside me. At first, it was just for me. Over time, I shared pieces of it with a few friends, and later with some of the mother communities I was part of. What surprised me was how many women recognised themselves in what I was writing.

The more I wrote and shared, the more others shared with me. Stories started meeting stories. Conversations deepened. Things that usually stayed unspoken began to surface.

That’s when this started to feel like something more than journaling.

I began to see this as an experiment in vulnerability. Instead of keeping everything private, I wanted to use this space to share my own stories, and eventually curate others that stay with me, in the hope that reading them helps you feel a little less alone and maybe reflect on your own life too.

I also hope these stories open up conversations — with yourself, with people you trust, or in places where honesty is often missing.

If there’s a story you’ve been holding on to, you can share it here. Every honest experience has a place in this collection and may be exactly what someone else needs to read.
